Our services include Asset Management, Retirement Planning, Estate Planning, Risk Management, Business Services (including business succession planning), Credit/ Debt Management.

Investment Advisory Service

We open client accounts in their name/s at Fidelity Investments. Clients receive monthly statements, trade confirmations, and other account related communications directly from Fidelity Investments. In addition, Hopkins Investment Management provides clients with personalized quarterly reports, with additional detailed account information. These reports will show account performance, performance comparisons, transaction history, and specific tax information, such as cost basis, income and capital gains, etc.

Our Services

We provide comprehensive financial planning and investment management services on a fee-only basis and our services fall into the following categories:

  1. Financial Planning Services:

The majority of our clients engage us to prepare a comprehensive Financial Plan for them. Among other items, this covers Net Worth and Cash Flow Analysis, Tax, Retirement and Education Planning, Insurance and Estate planning and Major Purchase planning.

  2. Investment Management Services:

Our clients also typically engage us to actively manage their investments.

    • After working through a thorough risk tolerance analysis we recommend a suitable investment portfolio to our clients. This recommendation is included in a written investment policy statement which also records how performance will be measured and against which benchmarks performance will be compared.

    • We implement the agreed portfolio and continue to monitor it.

    • We provide quarterly investment reports together with our quarterly Investment Letter and we meet with our clients quarterly in the first year and every 6 months thereafter to review these reports with them. It is important to mention that past performance is no guarantee of future results.

    • Our typical client has at least $500,000 under our management, however we will consider managing amounts less than $500,000 on a case-by-case basis.

  3. Hourly Projects: We do work for clients on an hourly basis and typically provide an estimate per project.
