Wendell GlobigWendell Globig joined Hopkins Investment Management as a Registered Investment Advisor in 2007. He provides specialized investment options to clients and shares with them the unique insight gained from 39 years of modeling the behavior of machines, processes and people. Wendell approaches investment opportunities with the precision and analysis of an engineer. For many years, he published an investment newsletter that offered advice derived from a proprietary model of global equity markets that he developed. Wendell earned his bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Ohio State University in 1974. In 1990, he was licensed as a Professional Engineer and obtained his MBA from Canisius College in Buffalo, N.Y. For 32 years, Wendell held technical and management positions with DuPont. He worked in five locations in four states before retiring from the company in 2006. Today, Wendell lives near Richmond, Va., with his wife, Jeanie. He and his wife are the parents of three adult sons. He is active in Prison Ministry and is a local leader in the Church of the Nations International. Wendell also serves on the board of directors of Richmond Christian Leadership Institute, an intensive 10-month program that mentors and trains young professionals so that they can share their talents, identify opportunities and solve problems in the local community. |
